creating your own blessed water or oil

What are the tools of your trade? Magic feathers from the Great Eagle, or a kitchen teaspoon.
What do you use to connect with Spirit? Tarot, Runes or Medicine Cards; all are holy and symbolic of wholeness.

Hello

I create my own blessed water or oil through sound, prayer and being poured over specific stones and crystals to help energize and balance the liquid.

I use the water to cleanse a space or tools, i use the oil to seal intention.

I am curious how others create thier own blessed liquid. How do you use it after you have created it. If you would not find it to intrusive, could you share?

Namaste' Birch

thanks for the posts; there are some interesting thing you have shared with us all here.

Regarding Tools:
All tools are to help you get your consciousness (thinking, feeling, intentions) to the level of vibration necessary for what you are trying to achieve. So with enough intention, belief, and focused attention there is ultimately no need for any physical tools; however anything can be a tool for any purpose because of shaman principle Ike: ‘Reality is whatever you think it is’. And it is not only fun to play with the different forms and use them to bring more awareness to our consciousness, but what ever tool you use for what ever purpose, it can help bring more conscious intent to that purpose, if intent is not strong enough.

Hello Sitting Owl

Thank for your reply

I am wondering then "‘Reality is whatever you think it is’" if the tool is not something that the shaman needs, would it then be the case that it helps in the focus of the patient? That it is the patient that actually needs the focus to be able to see into thier own healing reality? That they would expect sensatialism or tools to be used and if they aren't then they set themselves to not expect or even want the healing to happen.

That is spot on. Also in most cases, tools are not only to create a shift in consciousness on the patient, but also to help create the shift in the consciousness of the shaman or practitioner. As a form that life has taken we can also have fun playing with other forms and one way or another these other forms are all tools.

Thanks again for you input, questions and sharing of your own unique wisdom. It's an honour and a pleasure to have you here on my forum.

I use Vodka, Juniper and sage in portions to the four sides.

I use it to charge my tools with smudging with white sage.
